Annie Ju Chang Wang 王如璋

On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Annie Ju Chang Wang, beloved mother, sister, and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 61. Annie was born on January 3rd, 1963 in her cherished homeland, Taiwan. She later completed her master’s degree in Philadelphia, lived in Shanghai, and immigrated to Canada, calling Vancouver home since 2006. Our mother enriched her life and the lives of many others through her passions and hobbies. She spearheaded the Toastmasters Vancouver Gavel Club because of her conviction that all youth should have the opportunity to learn public speaking. Mom was an avid birdwatcher and passionate gardener. As an environmentalist, she loved treasure hunting for bargains and gems at the thrift store. She warmly welcomed guests into her home with healthy, home-cooked meals. She is survived by her three children, Richard, Austin, and Amelia, along with her sisters, Sunny, Patricia, Star and Maggie. We are tremendously saddened by this grave loss. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel on 1835 E Hastings St at 9:30 am.
